One Case of Ectopic Paragonimiasis in Pelivc Cavity

Abstract

|
It is well known fact that Paragonimus westermani causes ectopic parasitism of various sites in human hosts. Hosts. Major clinical problems of the ectopic paragonimiasis are related to the involved organs. We experienced a case of pelvic
paragonimiasis.
Explorative laparotomy was performed and Paragonimus granulomas were noted. This case was postoperatively treated with praziquantel.
